Two of our members are undertaking a virtual walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats (874 miles). They are walking locally every day to accumulate the total miles involved.
Frank, one of our oldest members, and his wife started just before Christmas and are well into the distance, they are walking to support Rotary charities locally and internationally including the eradication of Polio.
Jeremy, our local vicar – known to many in Aldridge, and his wife have started more recently, they are walking specifically for Acorn’s Children’s Hospice.
Two ways to get involved!
1. By sponsoring the walkers for a few pounds, you will help to get our fundraising going again and enable us to continue to support important causes
2. Alternatively, if you are a walker, runner or cyclist and fancy a challenge with purpose, why not sign up, get some sponsors and join our members in their challenge. It doesn’t matter how long it takes.
We intend to provide regular updates on the progress of our participants as they arrive virtually at the various towns and villages along the route. For more information contact Keith on 07393 445897 or email email@example.com.
Let’s get going and Spring into action to raise much needed funds and maybe to achieve a new personal challenge. Contact us to make a pledge of sponsorship by direct debit or through standing order.
Thank you for your continued support.
