The changing of the guard...

Well the time has been reached when we formally hand over the reins!

I was very pleased to have met John on Sunday during his short visit to the island and he sends his very best wishes to the Club. It gave me the opportunity of achieving a handover with him and it was my great pleasure today to pass the President Elect medal to Andy, who then handed his President Nominee medal to Simon. A great succession plan for the Club and I am looking forward very much to working together.

I am honoured to be taking the President role in this our Centenary year and will take pride in working with Council and the entire membership as we commemorate, celebrate and enjoy our special milestone year.

The weather looks fair for our afternoon tea on Sunday and hope that I will see many of you there.

Thanks to Jerry for the photos. Looks like Simon is being strangled!!

All the best
Brian
