Lunch Meeting

Wed, Nov 1st 2023 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Speaker: Larry Malčić, Architect and Chair, Victor Hugo Centre Guernsey LBG.
Subject: The proposed Victor Hugo Centre.

Larry will introduce exciting plans for the Victor Hugo Centre, a self-sustaining, accessible and inclusive venue for both islanders and international visitors, located in the former States Offices building; it will highlight the inspiration that Guernsey’s most famous resident found in the island, promote Guernsey’s lively creative community today, and encourage school children and students to learn about Hugo’s legacy of literary works and social advocacy.

The Centre will emphasise Hugo’s local connections and appeal to a global audience.
