Luncheon (Post Christmas Charity Event)

Sun, Jan 14th 2024 at 12:30 pm -

Dear Rotary Club of Guernsey and Inner wheel members,

I am sure that you are all aware that Simon and Amanda are unable to host the usual New Year luncheon this time. Hannah and I are happy to host it on Sunday January 14th at 12.30 for 13.00.

However, our house in St Peters is much smaller than Simon’s, and we can really only accommodate a maximum of 50 people. There will be about 20 seats, and otherwise we stand and mingle!

We have decided that it will be a Farmhouse finger buffet. Helen Wood will be co-ordinating the food. Members of Inner wheel will be preparing and providing the food. It would also be appreciated if non-inner wheel wives/partners could assist with this. Please liaise with Helen, and inform her of any dietary requirements. Peter Falla will be organising the drinks and the raffle. We have a field for parking opposite the house. It will be signposted.

We have decided to ask for £20/head to cover for food and drink. The total, after some costs, will be divided between Inner wheel and Rotary Club of Guernsey charities.

As we can only accommodate 50, it will be a question of “first come, first served”. Please inform myself as soon as possible, and sign up quickly, so that we can prepare for the event. Please pay the RCG general account in advance. Bank details are : General account 40-22-25, account no 41834711.
