It is with very great sadness that we pass on the news that our Rotarian member, past president and good friend Jonathan Bowen-Davies died peacefully at home on 16th October. This was after a long illness borne with fortitude.
Jonathan was always an active member of Rotary, involved in all our projects, good fun and generous to a fault. We shall miss him hugely, as he is a great loss to our club and community.
A funeral service for Jonathan was held in Holy Trinity Church in Minchinhampton on 30th October, and this was well attended by Rotarians and their spouses, plus relatives and friends of Jonathan.
Jonathan requested that donations to commemorate his life be made to two causes he held dear to him: Cheltenham Silver Band and Minchinhampton Parish Church Organ and Windows Restoration Project. His passion for music was widely known and his request demonstrates this. https://jonathanbowen-davies.muchloved.com/
