Martin will take us on a journey as he explores his passion for the landscape and culture, from the rolling hills of Gloucestershire to the drama of the Cornish coast through images, music and prose


Martin is one of the leading exponents of audio-visual in the country, his passion stems from a love of photography and combining images.  He feels this is such a creative medium, giving the image maker the freedom to express ideas, share experiences or communicate a message through vision and sound.

Cheltenham born, Martin is a retired Gloucestershire headteacher. A Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, he received their Dobson Henry Medal for Services to AV in 2013. Martin is well known as a lecturer and International judge in all forms of photography. He is an Honorary Life Member of Cheltenham Camera Club and been a member for 50years.

Rotary@Kingsholm has discovered that Gloucester City as only 3 accessible defibrillators. This is the lowest number in the country. A new defibrillator costs about £2200. Our aim during the next 12 months is to raise enough money to double that number.

Longfield Hospice provides end of life support at home to reduce the demand on NHS beds. Recognising how It is vital that the hospice continues its work to help vulnerable people in need, we were happy to make a donation to their funds.
