Young Carers Family Day

Sat, Aug 2nd 2025 at 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

Hosting up to 200 young carers and their families

Our biggest non-fundraising event of the year, held jointly with Marlow Rotary.
We will be hosting up to 200 Young Carers and their families at Foxes Piece School in what is now an
annual event. For some families this may be the only time they attend any event together in the year as we
provide a fun safe environment. As well as our ever popular plate smashing their will be outside games,
crafts and inflatables for them to enjoy as well as the free BBQ, ice cream, tea and cakes. Timings run from
12.00 to 5pm with set up from 9 am. The day will end with a BBQ for both clubs and partners from 6pm.
We will need about 40 volunteers to run the crafts, man bouncy castles, plate smashing and car parking
and of course serve the array of food on offer.

We may have been restricted but what we could do as Rotarians didn’t change. Since March 2020 the Club has stepped up to the mark helping people in need, fund raising and providing emotional support.
