A huge thank you to everyone who supported Ambleside Kirkstone Rotary’s Pink5K on Sunday! Whether you walked, donated, cheered us on, or helped in any way, we’re truly grateful for your support.
The route from Ambleside Parish Centre under Loughrigg to Pelter Bridge and back was a mass of pink! From vibrant outfits to wagging tails, participants - including four-legged friends brought smiles every step of the way.
We’re thrilled to announce that the event has raised over £3,200 (and counting!) for CancerCare, a local charity bringing support to people with a cancer diagnosis and also to their families.
A special thank you to The Inn Collection Waterhead Hotel and JT Atkinson for their generous sponsorship, and to APC for the perfect venue for this year’s Pink5K.
Through our Pink Walks over the years, we’ve raised over £15,000 in support of cancer charities and hospices. None of it would be possible without you.
You’ve made a real difference – thank you so much!
