Members and Friends of Shanklin Rotary Club contributed to the success of this year’s Corn Fayre at Arreton Barns by providing Parking Stewards for the two day event.
The success of the event did cause some disruption to local traffic, but this was resolved through the cooperation of the Police who allowed an exit to be opened to relieve the gridlock, caused by the volume of traffic attending the event.
Club President Steve Knight, along with John Fleming and David Buttle, gratefully received the cheque for £1,000 for Shanklin Rotary’s hard work, which will be used for local and international charity support.
