2019 Daffodil Day
All Saints Church will be the setting for the 2020 Daffodil Day celebrations on Saturday April4 2020.

A huge thank you to all those who helped to make today such a success in 2019. Once again everything seemed to run smoothly.
The Wordsworth Trust had over 40 people attending their poetry reading sessions. David Cornwall led a good number of people on an informative walk around the town including a couple on holiday from Australia!
The musical interludes were well attended and much appreciated. We certainly have some talent in Cockermouth.
Thanks to Paul and Jean Lack for their work in displaying the children's poetry in such an attractive way.
Lord and Lady Egremont enjoyed being a part of the day and going around the town to judge the shop window displays - Firns Hardware won first prize.
The WI certainly kept us going with refreshments throughout the day - there were some amazing and very tempting cakes on offer!

The Civic Trust had lots of folks looking into the work they do in Cockermouth.
