Items donated will be passed onto the charities International Aid Trust and Tools for Self Reliance.
The sewing machines donated will help seamstresses set up tailoring business, producing items such as school uniforms. To date Clitheroe Rotary has supplied around 150 unwanted working machines.
Tools will be passed onto those wanting to set up as mechanics or carpenters. We have already donated thousands of hand tools and working power tools.
Phones and spectacles are donated to International Aid Trust, and are refurbished or raided for spare parts. Spectacles are sent overseas and distributed to those who can't afford to pay for glasses, changing their lives by changing their vision.
Foreign currency is converted into sterling and added to the clubs charity fund.
Thank you for your past and future support.
