March 2023 has seen Rotarians and friends jump into action for spring!
We continue to receive vast quantities of blister packs, with another 14 bin bags full being delivered to Superdrug Blackburn. They in turn reclaim the aluminium ands low grade plastic, which is sold and the money raised goes to Marie Curie.
Fun was had at a very succesful 10 pin bowling evening, held in Blackburn. The guys and gals won one game each so even Stevens!
And finally, we held our second Market stall drop off point of 2023, where another six sewing machines were collected, taking our total to 102, along with lots of tools, computers, spectacles, mobile phones and of course six more bin bags of blister packs. Our final day on the Market for 2023 will be June 3rd. After that date, blister packs can still be donated, bu dropping them off at the Rose & Crown, Castle Street, Clitheroe, during normal openeing hours.
Thank you for all the support the Ribble valley community give to Rotary.
