Covid 19 Vaccination gets under way in Ribble Valley
Sixteen Rotarians and friends are heling out at Clitheroe Health Centre each day.....
Today Rotary was proud and privileged to be part of the start of the Covid 19 vaccination programme in Ribble Valley.
RV Rotarians and friends will be on duty at Clitheroe Health Centre for three days, until 6pm on New Year's Eve, helping the medical professionals and patients however we can. We will then continue into 2021 for as long as it takes.
Our pictures include Pendle Practice Nurse, Carole Kay, administering the very first Ribble Valley vaccination to Mrs Barbara Lawton, 95 of Clitheroe.
The second person to receive the vaccine was Lillian Brass, 88 also from Clitheroe. Mrs Brass was vaccinated by Nurse Stella Haythornthwaite from Whalley Health Centre.
Thank you to all who have volunteered to take part, working long hours in the cold weather.
