At the Hive

Inevitably one of our conversations around the table was about the health of those with medical problems. An email from Janice Goodman, bringing us up to date on her husband Philip, arrived during the meeting so we were able to share the very latest news on him. President Francis offered to contact one of the other ill members to ask about his progress.

For similar reasons, we only have 12 people booked to attend the meeting at Little Channels on 29 May. This is somewhat disappointing

Since we were at one long table, and there were others dining in the same room, for most of the time it was only possible for each member to talk to those nearest to them. Despite this, we had a relaxing and convivial meeting. The food the Hive gave us was very good. Hopefully our next visit there will be better supported.
