Rotary is committed to protecting the environment. Our own Environment Committee is looking at positive things we can do:
All Club members are asked to take part in some of the litter picks arranged in Chelmsford.

A number of prescription medicines come in the form of pills, tablets or capsules contained in blister packs. So do some over-the-counter medicines such as Paracetamol. This is very hygienic but what do you do with the blister packs afterwards?
Last year one of our members who is a retired medical professional came up with a solution. They can be collected and given to a local GPs’ surgery, which belongs to a blister pack recycling scheme and where the son of another member is a partner.
This has been popular among our members. More recently an offer was made to collect used blister packs from other Rotarians in the District. The photograph shows our member Dr Chuda Karki with two large plastic sacks containing used blister packs collected at the District 1240 Forum held on 25 February 2023.
