Carol Singing

Fri, Dec 15th 2023 at 6:20 pm - 9:30 pm

Roy Tate organised a group of Rotarians and wives to visit several restaurants to undertake carol singing and collect funds for Bradford Blaize charities. £363.24 was raised for local charities.

Meeting first at the Wetherby Whaler fish and chip restaurant in Guiseley the singers then went to Murgatroyds fish restaurant in Yeadon followed by the Stansfield Arms at Apperley Bridge, and finishing at the Westbourne Spice restaurant Bradford Road Otley.

Funds were collected for local charities by cash or credit card by Roy and Barry whilst John Waterhouse led the singing.

A creditable £363.24 was raised for local Bradford Charities. Many thanks to the carol singers but also to the kind people who donated funds. Particular thanks must go to the proprietors of the 4 restaurants for allowing the singing to take place.
