Dinner with speaker - Fred King, Rotary District Governor for Thames Valley Area

Tue, Sep 29th 2015 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Tonight we meet our District Governor, a man who is eminently qualified to lead the district through times of change.

Club members please log in for more information.

Born and educated in London, Fred King spent his working life in the printing industry, where he was involved in all aspects of the business and saw many changes; during his career he introduced new technologies and working practices - invaluable experience for taking on the role of Rotary District Governor in 2015/16.

A Rotary member since 2002, he's a passionate ambassador for Shelterbox, the humanitarian aid organisation that provides emergency shelter and vital supplies, to support communities around the world overwhelmed by disaster and humanitarian crisis.

Fred will remind us that every one of us has something to offer, whoever we are, whatever our position in life. We can provide our talent, knowledge, abilities and effort; we can also give our dedication and devotion.
Through Rotary we can take our gifts and make a genuine difference in the lives of others less fortunate than ourselves.
