Rotary Shop and Information Centre Opens in Clitheroe
Location - King Street, opposite Buckley's Pharmacy
Our shop is open in Clitheroe, providing information on Rotary activities and with a good supply of second hand books for sale.
Community Chair, Mary Robinson, together with President Jenni and a team of willing Rotarians have set up the shop in King St, opposite Buckley's Pharmacy.
Thanks to the loan of a large TV from Harry Garlick, we have been able to show a rolling video of the activities we carry out in Clitheroe and beyond.
Clitheroe Town Mayor, Stuart Fletcher and his wife Kerry, also came to see what Rotary does in Clitheroe. The Mayor also purchased a Crossroadfs ballon, which are on sale in the shop.
At least one person showed an interest in joining Rotary on day one.
Mary has individual Rotary high viz jackets for each Clitheroe Rotarian to take away from the shop. So to be sure to get one in your size, members should call in ASAP.
