At the start of the meeting, our President and Treasurer mentioned that the recent online quiz was very successful. There were over 90 log-ins and more than £700 was raised.

A grey-haired man with glasses Unfortunately our scheduled speaker didn’t turn up. Fortunately our District Youth Coordinator, Peter Dowse, had joined us for the meeting and quickly stepped into the breach with an impromptu report.

Those youth competitions that do not require face-to-face attendance are going ahead. Most closing dates are already past but the closing date for nominating young people to receive the Young Citizens Award has been extended to 12 March.

Whilst no face-to-face competitions or events will be held this Rotary year, one Club has arranged a video version of Young Musician. The Rotary Club of Chelmsford Phoenix hopes to have two groups take part in the Leadership And Management Programme via video link.
