Screenshot of a Zoom meetingOur speaker did not turn up today. It wasn’t her fault. Two of our Club officers each thought the other was liaising with her, with the result that neither was.

Still, some of us have got into the habit of joining the weekly online meetings early, allowing the President to allocate us to breakout rooms where we an chat in small groups before the main meeting starts. Some of us were therefore able to catch up with a few others before we were returned to the main meeting only to realise it wasn›t going to happen.

The formal business basically consisted of the raffle and the Thought for the Day. It must have been one of our shortest meetings ever.
