We learned about the services available from this commercial company.

In Home Care Chelmsford provides care on a commercial basis in people’s homes, enabling them to avoid the need for residential care. They not only provide personal care but also help with tasks in the home that clients may not be able to handle themselves, such as laundry. Care visits can be arranged for half an hour upwards and include “Live In Care”. Care packages can be regular or ad hoc.

From their base in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, they cover the CM1, CM2 and CM3 postcodes but can also arrange Live In Care in any part of the country. Staff are recruited through a variety of sources, including social media. References are taken up for all potential carers and they are required to have DBS checks.

Natasha started the business in December 2020. Sue joined them in February 2021. They had their first client in March 2021 and now have forty-five.

[When I looked at their website later I realised that In Home Care Chelmsford is a franchise of In Home Care Limited, which is based in Hampshire. Webmaster]
