Visit to the Hockney Exhibition at Salts Mill

Wed, Oct 12th 2022 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Derek has organised a visit to Salts Mill to see the Hockney Exhibition and have lunch in the Diner. Speaker Finder Derek O'Hearne, Visitors Host, Grace & Banners John Watson, Cash Desk & Sergeant at Arms John Waterhouse

Our meeting of Rotary on Wednesday 12th October will be at Salts Mill.  We will eat in Salts Diner at 1 o’clock and tables will be pushed together for us.  We will eat from the daily menu which you can view on the Salts Diner web site.

Access to all galleries including Hockney is free as is the car parking.  Access to the car park is gained from Fox’s Corner past the Noble Comb public house and is clearly signposted.  Disabled parking is available immediately adjoining the entrance – drive on past the car park to the disabled bays.  There is a lift to all floors immediately inside the entrance.

We can tour the galleries before lunch and/or after lunch as a group.  Tour guides were previously available but not at the present time due to staff shortages.  I was recommended to take the lift to the top floor and work down.

Whilst it is not necessary to pre-order lunch I am asked to give numbers attending by next Tuesday.  Therefore, will you please let me know your intentions by email.
