Clitheroe Rotary is celebrating the Coronation of King Charles the 3rd.
Prsident Karin, along with President Elect, Robert, planted a comemerative tree and flower bed in the grounds of St. Mary's Parish Church, Clitheroe. The President, along with many Clitheroe town centre workers, often enjoy their lunch sitiing in the Church gardens, now, they can also enjoy the Rotary flower bed and tree.
Members, partners and friends enjoyed a splendid Coronation afternoon tea, provided by Michelle at the Rose and Crown, Clitheroe. So good was the offer of a Coronation tea, we were joined ny PDG David Simpson from RC Fleetwood.
Clitheroe Past President, Jenni Schumann put together a royal quiz and games, which everyone enjoyed.
Clitheroe Rotarians, along with friends and the Guides marshalled at Clitheroe Castle on Coronation day, where two giant screen broadcast the Coronation live from London.
