Club Outside Visit to Holmfirth Vineyard.

On a sunny, but chilly evening, 16 Rotarians and friends enjoyed a return visit to Holmfirth Vineyard. We were given a short history of the business followed by a very detailed, but enjoyable explanation of the full process of wine production from preparing the fields and soil right through to bottling the finished product! We were then given the opportunity to sample three of the different wines produced.

The tour was followed by a fabulous meal and great conversation. President David thanked Paul for organising the visit and we finished by singing Happy Birthday to Rtn Kathryn Barnes! (Jeremy)
