31st Club Charter Celebration at The Holiday Inn, Brighouse The cost is £30


Rotary Club of Birstall Luddites
31st Charter Dinner and Dance

President Keith and the members of Birstall Luddites  
held their 31st Charter at The Holiday Inn, Brighouse on
Saturday 2 November .

 President Keith led Rotarians partners guests and friends - 101 in total who gathered for the clubs  
 31st Anniversary CHARTER DINNER and enjoyed a good meal and a Disco Dance.
Guest of honour was District Governor 1040 Manoj and his wife Bhavna  
 also  AG Mike Gill & Lisette  Horbury and Ossett Phoenix Three Past DGs from the club Robert Keith and Nigel plus PDG Robin Mason & Jane ( RC Hull )
Presidents or their Representatives from the Inner 9, with presidenta from
RC Hull, RC Bingley Airedale, RC Howarth & Worth Valley, RC York Ainsty
Grace was said by PDG Rotarian Robert Jackson. 
Loyal Toast by PDG President Keith Davison. 
Welcome and Introduction of Guests was by President Elect Margaret Arthurs
 
DG Manoj gave an insight into his progress in his hectic year as District Governor, he talked of the club contribution to Rotary. The clubs past presidents and Roberts District lead on Polio eradication. Praising Rotary and Bill Gates for the  world leadong Polio project..
In responce President Keith replied on behalf of the Club talkinf of his previos club Presidency
in 2004 and his speaker comedian that day.
Keith also praised Inner Wheel and the inner wheelers present.

  Sergeant at Arms Rotarian Carol Parkinson.  
Entertainment was provided by a Disco Dance
