Charitable Donations 2020 / 2021

Our Rotary year runs July to June which is the term of office for our President.

This Rotary year (July to June) has been very different to all others. Like all other organisations the Covid Pandemic has seen us cancel all our planned fund raising activities.

Our intention was to hold a Sporting Dinner with Bruce Grobbalaar as the main speaker, Armed Forces Day, Yorkshire Day and of course our Annual Sponsored Boxing Day Dip, all of which were cancelled.

We have however made the following donations:

Redcar Foodbank £250 (during the Pandemic we have donated a total of £2000)

O'Grady's Foodbank project £250

Redcar RNLI £150

Save the Children £260

Christmas gifts for children who have suffered from domestic violence during the Pandemic £400

Redcar Town FC Ladies Team £100

Rotary International Foundation £400

Zetland Primary School following our crowdfunding campaign Covid Tablets 4 LIFE we donated 3 laptops worth over £1000 for families to use at home.

Ann Charlton Lodge - £190 for a Lateral Transfer Slide

Our year is nearly over lets hope May to June sees us able to do more for the community we live in.
