We were delighted to present St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Grangetown with a cheque for £1000 towards their summer trip to Paris. Rotarians Brian Pollitt, John Finlay and Dave Atkinson were invited along to the school on Monday 18th March to meet teacher Keiran McIntyre and some of the children who are looking forward to their trip of a lifetime.
The trip is a 4 day excursion to Paris including a day at Disneyland. There will be 4 members of staff and 28 children looking forward to sightseeing around Paris including a river cruise and a vist to the Montparnasse Tower.
Additional fund raising has included cake sales, Christmas Fayre, Carol Concert, family fun night, race nights, school disco and many more things.
Redcar Rotary are so pleased to have had the opportunity to help towards the cost of the trip and hope all the children have a wonderful time.
