World Scout Jamboree

£300 grant to 3 Marske Scouts to attend the World Jamboree in Seoul

We are pleased to have helped 3 local scouts from the 1st Marske and New Marske Scout Group with a £300 grant towards the cost of attending the 25th World Scout Jamboree which will be hosted in Seoul, South Korea from 1st - 12th August 2023.

President Dave Atkinson made the presentation at the Scout Hut in Marske on 19th May.

Sam, Daniel and Nathan all live in Redcar and attend the Outwood Academy in Marske. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to experience a new culture and environment, each wholly unfamiliar to what they are used to. We wish them well in this venture and look forward to hearing their experiences when the return.
