Charitable Donations 2021/2022

Details of our donations to other causes during the Rotary year 2021/2022

To make donations we firstly need to raise some money. Since Covid we have had little opportunity to hold events that raise much capital. During the Rotary year 2021/2022 we were able to hold only 2 events, a Race Night at O'Grady's Hotel in Redcar and the Annual Boxing Day Dip.

We are delighted to have made the following donations totalling £2370

  • Redcar Lifeboat £650
  • Cleveland Mountain Rescue £350
  • Redcar Coastwatch £300
  • Redcar Sea Cadets £300
  • Redcar British Legion £50
  • Mayor's Charity Fund £250
  • Pilot Theatre £100
  • Sequal Trust £100
  • Shelterbox £75
  • Rotary Foundation £195

In addition we planted 5000 crocus corms in the Lily Park and paid for 2 young adults to attend an Outward Bound Leaders Course in Teesdale.
