We highly recommend that you pre-register as there will be limited registrations available on the day.

Your donation will be acknowledged automatically, we will follow this up with either a request for additional infomration or your registrsation details. If you are registering for a group then the email will include all of your group. This will be done within a few days of your registration. Please take the email to The Palace Hub, The Esplanade, Redcar after 10.15 on Boxing Day. The procession to the sea leaves at 11am.

How do I find your page on GoFundMe if the links don’t work?

Search for Redcar Rotary Boxing Day Dip 2023 on the GoFundMe website.

Are there changing facilities?

Sadly, we are unable to provide changing facilities. We therefore suggest that you come as ready to dip as possible and to bring plenty of warm clothing for afterwards.

Can I do my own bucket collection during the event?

Unfortunately not, but you can raise your own sponsorship money. We want you to raise as much money as you can for your chosen cause so as you know we charge a small registration fee but want you to keep 100% of the sponsorship money you raise.

Whilst the registration fee helps us cover the cost of running the Dip we will be holding a bucket collection on the promenade and the beach, this helps us raise money for the charities we support. So we hope that you respect this and don't hold your own bucket collection on the day.

What happens on Boxing Day?

If you have pre-registered we will have sent you an email with your registration number. Present this at the appropriate desk in The Hub on Redcar Esplanade after 10.15am but no later than 10.50am to let us know you are there and to collect your Boxing Day Dip wristband.

We highly recommend that you pre-register as there will be limited availability on the day itself. If you are registering on Boxing Day, our registration desks open at 10.15 inside The Hub. Registration fee is £10 per person and is by card, bank transfer or cash.

There are no changing facilities, so you need to come ready to Dip.

Dippers will congregate on the road in front of The Hub before being led down to the sea by a Piper.
