Youth Competition

On July 14th at 6pm at the Penmorvah Hotel the Rotary Club of Falmouth has invited the Head Teacher and a colleague of our local Primary schools to be our guests at a Buffet dinner to hear about the Youth competitions we are offering this year. The description of each will be followed by a brief comment from a teacher whose school has been involved in the past on the effect of being in the competition has had on their pupils, One of our judges will also describe what she is looking for from the teams. Hayley Hill, of Cornwall Climate Care, will describe the subjects relating to Climate Change that she offers free presentations about to schools. Falmouth Primary Academy had a very successful talk for year 5 from her last term. Schools will also be asked as to how Rotary can be of help in the future

Anyone interested in attending should notify Barrie Lukey on blukey@btconnect.com  before July10th"
