On 21st October we held our Annual Quiz Night in the Penicuik Miners Club. On this occasion it was to raise funds to buy a Shelter Box for use by those made homeless by natural disaster or conflict. With 15 teams taking part it was a great evening and the winning team were presented with a voucher for a meal for four which was kindly donated by the Navaar Hotel. The funds raised will indeed purchase a Shelter Box.
