The Rotary Club of Bradford is delighted to report on the success of their charity walk in aid of Marie Curie Hospice Bradford on Sunday 12th June 2016. Over 50 sponsored walkers supported the event and donations on the day were over £2,500 with some more still to come.
Spokesman for the Rotary Club, Phillip Sharp, said “We are delighted with the result, as it is the first time we have used this route. Our last 10 walks had been down the River Wharfe from Buckden to Bolton Abbey, but due to having to bus people between the two points the cost had become prohibitive”.
