Club Past President Sally Nowak, husband Richard, their dog Poppy, club member Haydn Smith and wife Gail did the South Downs Way walk between Eastbourne and Winchester in stages making a total of about 100 miles. Poppy was suitably attired with her Rotary vest and one of the objectives was to raise money for Sally's two charities: Superstar Arts and West Sussex Young Carers and to publicise Rotary and our club as many people know little or nothing about our great movement. Bonuses were the scenery and the healthy effect of the exercise.
