Chiltern Hills Academy Interact Club supporting Wrap Up - November 2024
The Interact club at Chiltern Hills Academy are working with Chesham Rotary Club who mentor them, most recently they helped 'Wrap Up' where used coats were collected for redistribution.
What is Wrap Up?
Wrap Up is a project run by various Rotary Clubs working in partnership with Hands On London.
It’s sole aim is to provide coats, that go directly to people across the UK, who struggle to keep warm during the winter months.

WINTER COAT COLLECTION – A BIG THANK YOU!
The CHA Interact club joined forces with Wrap Up, a charity which distributes unwanted winter coats to those who need them for the second year running. Last year, we collected a fantastic 60 coats which were used to keep people warm last winter. This year we asked the CHA community and five local primary schools to donate their unwanted coats.
Following four weeks of collecting coats, the Interact Club then throughout November sorted the mountains of coats into different types ready for collection.
In total, we collected over 300 coats for the Wrap up organisation which was three car loads! Wrap up have now distributed the coats and they are now keeping people warm!
We want to say thank you to all those people who donated them!
The Interact Club is open to any pupil in the school who would like to join with making the school and wider community in Chesham a better place. The Interact club meets on Thursdays at 3.30-4.30pm every week in 1C2.

Thousands of youngsters take part every year in our youth competitions which in most cases take the form of regional heats followed by a national final. The majority are categorised into junior, intermediate and advanced age groups.

The Rotary Club of Chesham are supporting Chiltern Music Therapy and other local groups (who have or do support dementia suffers and carers). The walk in the beautiful Chiltern Hills took place on Sunday 4th September 2022.

On Tuesday 17th July 2018 the annual titanic struggle took place between opposing teams for the 'Texas Scramble’ golfing match. This was followed by the putting competition and supper organised and hosted by Inner Wheel.
