Steps for Santa

We Made It Back from the North Pole!

Our final step total came to 22,530,470. Which in the end meant that we not only travelled ‘To the North Pole’ we also came back via a much longer route than we had originally planned.

Returning to Wollaton Hall on the 23rd of December 2020 members of the Wollaton Park Rotary Club walked back to where it all started, led by a Piper, our President Bernard Hardisty and his wife. A fitting ‘socially distanced’ end to an incredibly successful Christmas fundraiser in support of Treetops Hospice Care, Framework Charity and other local charities.

A huge thank you to all of our ‘walkers’ and to everyone who has supported and donated. We’ll be leaving the Just Giving page open for a few days more if you’d like to donate. In the meantime, on behalf of everyone at the club, have a fantastic Christmas and see you all in 2021.

NOTE - WHEN DONATING WITH JUST GIVING:
The % contribution (on top of your donation) is ‘voluntary’ it is not ‘mandatory’.

If you do not want to add on a % towards the Just Giving operating costs then please choose ‘other’ from the drop down when donating.
